Dealer has my SS.. I took my car to the dealer this morning, because a few weeks ago i made an appointment and the guy told me that even though i was out of warrenty, there was a TSB on my injectors and they would take care of it. Im crossing my fingers. I told them what was wrong.. "Number 6 injector is bad".. But they said they needed an hour of diagnosis time to find out for themselves. So, against my will, i approved an hour. Now, if they tell me, "Ok, your number 6 injector is bad, that'll be 600 bucks".. im gunna fuggin flip out. The only reason they have my car is so i can see if i can get them replaced under warranty. Im not giving them an hour of labor to tell me what i already know. If they will replace the injectors under warranty, then i have no problem paying them the hour of diagnosis (seeing as how they are going out of their way to do something for me when im out of warranty. SO i guess we'll see what happens when i get a call.
BTW: They flipped out when they popped the hood, like they had never seen a modified car before.. ****... First thing they asked was "Is it supercharged? Nitrous? Stock internals?"... "yes, yes.. all thats on there is headers and some bolt on items, all CARB legal..." They were happy with that, lets hope they replace my injectors. I should have taken off the strut tower brace.. oh well.. at least i deprogrammed the HPP3 and took off the valve cover breather.

Re: Dealer has my SS.. No, dealerships suck. I gave them my car, and because it was out of warranty, they wanted a "diagnostic" fee, even though i told them what was wrong. I basically told them, if you can replace them under a TSB or warranty, then do it, otherwise, give me my car back. Well they took my car, and called me a few hours later telling me that there is nothing wrong with the car. So i came in and asked to speak with the Tech that worked on my car. He said that with my mods, the injector pulse width is more and they will make more noise. Now, this is true, but one single injector wont make an abnormal amount of noise over the rest. He didnt agree, even when i showed him that when you disconnect #6, the noise goes away. I told him i was a Tech, and knew what i was talking about. After a lot of argueing, we almost got into a fist fight, and i was escorted out. Still had to pay for a half our of labor for diagnostic.. 63 bucks for nothing.. ill never go there again.
