Then it has the Hookers, Lts, and Sts. I really don't know what I should get, Right now my car has the Borla 3" Adjustable Catback exhaust. I'm later on planning to put an aggressive cam and lingenfelter heads on, so, I need to have something that will be able to take those.
Thanks,
Caleb
As far as what headers to get, the general answers are for the high $$$ setup, Kooks or QTP stainless steel ceramic coated headers, and Y pipe (the ceramic coating is for underhood heat control, and is reccomended)
For the budget concious header set up, a set of Pacesetter armor coated headers, and TSP Y pipe
Make your choice based on the depth of your wallet
Either set will serve you well until you start to go for more displacement, then you'll likely want to increase the primary size to 1 7/8" (as opposed to the 1 3/4" primarys of the headers mentioned above)
BUT the pacesetter headers come with a crap-tastic little O2 extension "kit" where you actually cut the factory harness on each side, and splice in some extra wire. It's much easier/cleaner/safer to buy some O2 extensions that just click into place. 2 24" long extensions do the job perfect.
It's also a smart idea to have the rear O2 sensor, EGR, and AIR codes deleted, so you can remove that crap. A small tune job should only cost you a few bux, not $500 or anything.
If you do a little research, you'll find out just how great of a header and great of a value Pacesetters are. They really can't be beat i you're looking to get coated steel headers. STAY AWAY from the SLP's, they are yesterday's news and suck completly.
