Default best way to clean used headers??

Hey guys. I have a 96 ws6 m6 . i just bought some used hooker shortie headers along iwth a stainless works ory. when i received them in the mail, they were in good shape. all i did was use some good abrasive to clean the exterior of them. Heres the question i have now, the inside of the headers obviously have some exhaust fume build up. is there anyway i can do something to clean the inside of the headers to possibly make them like new? i was thinking maybe degreaser or some cleaning stuff. let me know if anybody did something similar or has any idea what i should do ... thanks!

maybe carb. cleaner, as it would cut the carbon buildup (if any) very well. maybe use parts cleaner on them, the machine that has the sink and pump, etc. you could just spray a 150 shot through your motor a couple times to clean your engine and exhaust out.

You could do it with carb cleaner and also throw a handful of nuts and blots in there, then seal off both ends and shake it up .

I use to clean up old rotten motorcycle fuel tanks this way.

Or maybe you could use a flexible shafted hone tool on the end of a drill.

brake clean, that will take off anything, but why bother they are going to look the same very soon again anyway, I mean they are still shorties so you are not going to get that much gain if any anyway.
