The Hooker Aerochamber is on
Well I brought my car to an ol buddy of mine and we got it up on a lift and he attached the AeroChamber. The AeroChamber is 2.5"in and 2x2.25" dual out. The pipe fit right in..no need to open up the muffler. The passenger side tip attahced with no problem. On the drivers side he had to put about a 3" of pipe on to line up the tip. He attached it with a hangar and welded the tip end (unfortunately it was not a stainless piece, otherwise he would have welded it).
The muffler sounds excellent IMHO. It is not loud off throttle but when you put your foot into it it sounds real nice. Also idle sounds nice also. Very throaty. My dad said "Sounds like my 65 Corvette".
An SLP Y-Pipe is on order next. I would think that would be a nice compliment.
I decided to shy away from the full cat-back cause I figure already got a stainless exhaust. I dont think that a 2.5" exhaust is that much restrictive over a 3"
Just my .02
