I need some expert help...please!!!!! hello, I just got a 02 z28, m6, I traded in my a4 with 800 miles, boring as hell to me. anyway, i added a lid, ftra, fernco, and a spintech muffler. the car runs great, 470miles on it, so im taking it easy. here is my question. Since the muffle, when i lug the motor , say , going slow in 4th, and give it gas, the motor detonates, pings like crazy. it has been very warm here though. Is it normal, does the computer need time to learn the extra flow, What is going on??? im new to the m6, so I need some help, thank you in advance, victor

Downshift and use a lower gear if your going slow.
