Re: help Well tell us what it is doing. You need to be a bit more specific on what the car is doing. Seeing as that no one is there to look at the car you need to describe whats going on. Best way to find out if your running rich is to run an A-Tap on the car and read your O2 sensors

Re: help It is black as soon as i get in it & fades to a whiteish cloud of smoke it does this about half track on a 1/8mile.It started when i took the cats off & i dont have an A-Tap where can i get one this problem sucks.

Either way, if it started once you took your cat's off, you may want to look into you O2 sensors. A bad O2 sensor will **** your a/f ratio.

Verdad Gallardo Re: help If it is burning oil, smoke from the tail pipes will be blue if you are using regular oil. Smoke from the tail pipes will be a little more on the white side if you are using synthetic. Your exhaust will also smell like synthetic if it is burning synthetic oil. Another good sign that you are burning oil is that you have to keep putting oil in it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
If it is running rich, you will have a tendency to surge at idle, and backire alot on downshifts (once in a while is okay). If it is running PIG rich you will be able to smell the fuel.
