For an A4, nothing beats as torque converter.

A torque converter is one of the biggest bangs for the buck in an auto...but I would probably do some easy stuff first..lid would be one of first mods..easy to install ..proven gains and can easily go back to stock for warranty.then for easy maybe maf.some guys seem to have good luck with gms like me..some like the pace..not sure about slp..ported tbs are pretty cheap..shaner,
etc..not much gain from that on stock cars though.
Your ws6 exhaust is already good, only real reason to change would be different sound. You could also get cutout maybe or even electric cutout.Thats pretty much it for easy mods ..oh yeah..maybe a underdrive pulley..fast and pretty good results from that too.You also can cut out your hood baffles and maybe look into a brian green mod.
He makes a system that really seals up our ws6 hoods nice. Then after this stuff if you want more its hardcore time..headers,cam..you already have the ls6 intake..lucky you..saves you some money there.and then heads or turbos, nitrous ,superchargers..name your horsepower adder....be warned ..you might want to leave it totally stock..I could have bought a zo6 for what I got into this car or could have kept my ws6 showroom stock and bought a race bike and older muscle car to really race up for the money I have into this one..but she is turning into quite the super car my red rocket..

Yank converters are awesome. The only thing that will affect your gas mileage is a lead foot once you install the converter

Yank site

ps...stop yelling. You don't have to type in caps
