loudmouth how does every one run there loudmouth (cats no cats) and can i get some feedback on what every body thinks of the system <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
Re: loudmouth I ran mine with cats and SLP y-pipe. I never know where I could wind up moving and then have to worry about emissions - besides for a daily driver I'm doing my part.
The only issue I had was that when I got the SLP LT header kit it came with another y-pipe that you have to use. But I sold the old y-pipe very quick in the classifieds. And I run the high flow cats with the headers.

Re: loudmouth I have it with cats, SLP Y pipe, and stock manifolds, along with a loping T1 and I think it sounds great (the cop that pulled me over a couple weeks ago would beg to differ I suspect <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> ). I really can't wait to get a good set of longtubes w/cats on there though.

Re: loudmouth With cats, it be bad scares women and small children my neighbors with the harleys even like it, wouldn't recommend it with an A-4 not enough gears to control the drone/resonance.

Re: loudmouth Not what I wanted to hear. Just agreed to buy a Loudmouth. I have the MAC headers with CATs right now, but want to run an off-road y-pipe because I will be using Harlan's 2-step on my car. You can't use the 2-step with CATs because it'll clog them up (raw fuel).
I was worried it'd be obnoxious with the ORY pipe.

Re: loudmouth It IS obnoxious at WOT or hard throttle. Mine has mellowed since new. Nice "rumbledy-rumbledy" at idle (112LSA cam). Good burble at decelleration.
At WOT, *everyone* w/in 1/4 mile cranks their neck to see what the commotion is about. At hard throttle, from the next lane or side of the road, it is scary. And very, very, loud!

Since I bought a welder, Imay have to do some experimenting with something to mellow it down some.
