How many cans to make A/C operable ?
How many cans to make A/C operable ? I need to fully recharge my A/C, I know it says that I need 1.5 pounds in the system, but i dont have a gauge. Does any one know how many cans it will take if its bone dry ?
Re: How many cans to make A/C operable ? Thanks for the info ! Geez, that is alot less than I had heard from others. Some guy at the auto parts store thought that I would need like 4 or 5 cans.

Re: How many cans to make A/C operable ? Where I live the cans of Freon are 12 ozs. So 2 cans will fill your system. If it calls for 1.5lbs, and there are 16 ozs in a pound then that is 24 ozs.
