1 5/8" headers & H/C motors
I currently have 1 5/8, 34" long 4-1's into 2 1/2" collector, twin 2 1/2" twin mandrel bent system with X pipe & Hi flow cats.
Would there be any/much gain getting 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" headers and maybe a 3" collector.
I currently have 346 with bolt ons, soon will have TR230/224 cam and shortly after Stage 2 5.3 Heads.

After seeing how much the TR230/224 cam liked to breathe with Jason's car, I think you could benefit from a 1 3/4" primary.
That means I have to get custom made headers as no one makes tuned length 4-1 headers afor LS1's any bigger than 1 5/8 over here <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> .
I've been thinking that about more than just Headers, the market over here is really only geared up for basic bolt ons.
Anyway looking into getting some done soon.
