Default running egr w/o cats question

I've already got the emissions Pacesetters but have decided not to run cats, my question is can I still run the egr with O2 sims in the back with no problems? I'm going to get the Bosch O2's for the front since I hear they will reach without having to splice them. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Yes you will be fine with the O2 sims & EGR....sims just tell the pcm all is well, PCM has no idea whats going on in the exhaust stream anymore

My 00Z28 had O2 extensions and the EGR hooked up for over a year and now that I changed the intake, cam, and got rid of the EGR I have an O2 sensor code coming up.

You will be fine.

The EGR has nothing to do with having cats or not, now it you have cats keeping the air pump will help prolong their life
