EXTENDED OIL FILTER ANY BENEFIT? I'VE HEARD DELCO AND MOBILE 1 MAKE EXTENDED OIL FILTERS DO MOST PEOPLE USE THESE? ALSO IS PAYING $12 FOR A MOBILE 1 OIL FILTER WORTH THE MONEY? I,M USING MOBILE 1 OIL. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: EXTENDED OIL FILTER ANY BENEFIT? I use the larger Mobile one filter. It is longer ( higher capacity ) so you should run a little extra oil ( I run 6 quarts ). They hang a bit lower but I have never hit mine.

Re: EXTENDED OIL FILTER ANY BENEFIT? I've been using the longer AC PF58 for a long time, the only longer filter I can find around here locally. I also run 6 qts oil.

Re: EXTENDED OIL FILTER ANY BENEFIT? I run the UPF58 (bought a couple of cases before they were discontinued <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> ) also with 6 qts.
