Hey everyone, i really dont know much about anything <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> , but i have the SLP dual dual exhaust set-up and i was thinking about hooking up some headers, i was wondering if anyone could give me some insight to what headers would fit, what all i would need, and possibly which would give me the best sound and performance with my exhaust i have now. since you have the dual/dual that means its very close to stock sounding so you would be safe running an offroad set of headers and not worry about driving yourself insane on the highway. From what people say FLP are some of the best but they carry a HEFTY pricetag at around $1200-1300 a set. They come with removable pipe segments to allow easy removal of the cats though. I am running MAC headers on my car (2002 z28) with a catalytic y pipe. I haven't gotten it dyno'd but I definately felt a good seat of the pants difference when flooring it. A lot of people say if you arent going to go with a cam or heads/cam, the difference in power between midlength headers (MAC) and Longtubes (FLP, SLP) isn't going to be very significant at all. Now if you plan on going with aftermarket internals the extra cost of longtubes might be a good idea. Hookers are supposedly good too but I don't know much. I am by no means an expert on this but what I mentioned seems to be the general consensus from most of the board members.

friend please.I been around for a while and i can tell you this about it friend GMMG sound's better than my Borla. now diff is that im not saying you wont get any HP from GMMG but it does nothing for the car and i know somebody that has FLP's and GMMG on there car and it rock's. if i was you

go Borla i have it and i was going with the GMMG till i talked to a few Tech's for about 4 month's before i bouight any and here's what thay sed GMMG sound's good but does nothing for the car Corsa's ok.... Borla and FLP's you can't go wrong friend you will be glade you did
GMMG Borla and if you do try the bigest plate in there and work your way down. rember*the more you use a little plate the less air flow mean's more you will get off the linelow end. the more you leave your Borla open with the biggest plate the more you going to get top end and maby a hair off the line. i run the bigest plate in there

with GMMG it's 1 sound and 1 sound only that's the good thing about Borla you can alway's adjust it any time you feel like it you go to the track and you want better ET's hell stick the little plate in there you want louder in the city open that hole up hope this help's
im happy with it............... trust me when im finished i get over 50 Opp's on something before i wast my money FLP header's and Borla you will be glade you did friend and i can tell you this nothing out there can come close to FLP header's i can promas you that FLP's give you power other's dont give you as much i only speak the Truth and i learn from the best........... give me a yell if you have any more Question's
