Problems after water pump replacement. Hey guys, I changed out the water pump in my mother in law's 79 Corvette and while I was at it changed the fan clutch for it was leaking lubricant. After I got it all put back together and filled with coolant. I took it for a spin and the teperature gauge never moved from cool and the heater is not getting hot. I know the temperature sending unit was working properly before I started this project. I have seen no leaks since I finished but the upper radiator hose did not seem like it had that much presure.
How can I tell if the coolant is even moving through the car?

Sounds like the thermostat is stuck open to me, or maby even left out.
My s-10 blazer used to take 30-45 minutes to get up to temp if you were driving it. Replaced the stat and it was perfect.
