Shift light install?

I have a 02ss wondering where i can tie into a tach output on a coil pack or anywhere else. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

what i did on my was splice into the tenth wire on the computer should be a white wire which is the rpm control and then hook a hot wire any red one and then ground it check out ls1.com and go to mods and it shows how to do it.

you may not want to do that...im pretty sure red is an always live wire, where as the pink, the one you want to splice in to, is only active with the car on.
