Default SLP LT Header install

I just bought some SLP LT headers and an ORY. I have access to all the tools needed to do the job but would like to know what all is involved. How much stuff am I going to have to remove/move to install it. If anyone has a write up on it I'd love to read it. Thanks a lot.

SLP are a lot harder = true

[EDIT] they hang really low, and must have the worst clearance of any headers. My first and so far only expensive do-over... If given another chance I think I'd go with QTP or Jet Hot.

Here's the pacesetter guide

BTW those are for the older versions, the k member no longer needs to be cut, other than that, it should be the same (it's the one I followed for my install)

FWIW a guy locally had SLPs LTs, and he scraped over some inclines, and some drainage dips in the road, and he was at stock height too, it depends on the roads

Take speed bumps very slow and at an angle. Other than that, I haven't had any problems running my SLP LTs at stock ride height.

Probably going to have problems here in Tulsa with the SLPs, I have a friend with a TA and SLPs, stock height, and they are pretty beat up.

Well I bought them used with a few scrapes on them as it is =)
They were pretty inexpensive but I'll still be gentle with them.
