timing advance
timing advance i bought a timing advance kit off of ebay and then i heard something about them damaging the engine. i'd like to know it anybody knows anything about these. thanks

Re: timing advance I put a 4.7K resistor on my IAT connector and it did show the inlet air temp to be 57º. I hooked up my scanner before and after and it didn't show any timing change either at idle or a steady higher rpm. Just when does the trick advance timing? The IAT without the resistor and connected to the sensor showed 82º.
