Question Hooker Headers...? Advice

It seems like all headers are similar whether its sound related or performance wise...Are hooker headers a good buy for a 2000 LS1? I would like to put true dual from the LT's back...Any previous owners with Hookers? What do you think, Advice? Thanks

I had a bad experience with Hooker LT's. They are very thin wall mild steel and the flange is thin too. I had a weld fail and they had to be removed and rewelded. When I removed them, the flange was leaking the entire time. I ordered a set of QTP's and these are 1000x better in every aspect.

If your looking for a budget header check out the coated pacesetters. If you have some money to spend go kooks or qtp's.
