Getting ready to install LS6 intake Finally after a few months of it sitting in my garage, I'm gonna put this d a m n thing on.
When I ordered the intake, I also got the EGR adaptor that Lingenfelter sells (as I want to keep my EGR) but I have a couple of questions.
1) Do I simply drill a hole into the intake for the EGR to work? If so, what size works best in order so that #2 will work.
2) Lingenfelter sent along some Ultra Blue RTV gasket sealer to seal the plastic chunk of an adaptor to the intake. This is great, but does this RTV act as a glue too? I fail to see how this little adaptor will stay mounted to the intake, especially considering the heat passing through there.
Has anyone done this with the adaptor?
