Draglites require a different style lugnut than the stock wheels. They may look the same when mounted, but they are a different design.

You can use the stock wheel studs with draglites... myself and countless others do.. Tony (NINEBALL) did go with a little longer than stock. I'm sure he'll chime in soon.

Thanks John, hopefully Tony will chime in and let me know what type and where I can get them. I didn't know you could still use the stock studs with a 5/16 spacer on the front runners Thanks again.

When I had a stock rearend, I ran two different lug types for both sets of wheels. I used 12mm chrome Gorilla lugs for the stock wheels (got them at Discount Tire) and used 12mm x 1.5 long-shank lugs for the Draglites. I've always used 5/16" spacers all the way around.

When I bought the Moser 12-bolt rearend, I opted for 1/2", long-style lug studs for their increased strength. This means I had to use two completely different sets of rear lugs for both wheels now, since it was no longer 12mm. So, now I have four different lug nuts I must use (talk about pain in the *** haha). I run some 1/2" truck-style (acorn seat) lugs on the back with the stock wheels (must still use 5/16" spacer or the lugs bottom out on the long studs) and I use 1/2" long-shank lugs for the Draglites. Up front, the same as I used before, 12mm stuff.

The truck lugs I got at Pep-Boys, they are hex shaped but much longer looking than car lugs. They cover my extra long studs nicely and still "appear" stock to the untrained eye. Sneaky

I am putting Weld Draglites on my SS. Your wheels and lug bolts look stock but will hold your Draglites also . What length and size studs do I need. Also what size and type of lug bolts do I need. I want to run the same setup you have
