Want to build Fuel system What all is needed for a aftermarket fuel system.
Im guessing putting a cell in the truck area would be best, I don't know how you would sump a plastic tank. Maybe buy a 98 steel tank.
What have others bought? Aeromotive A1000 + regulator. What about lines and fittings.
I guessing it would need a return line.

Re: Want to build Fuel system - Use a '98 tank and have a sump made; remove stock pump in tank, but leave line open and use as a return line; block factory return from "T" in factory lines.

- The best deal on pumps is the Aeromotive 1000. I used a Weldon for a while and was very loud!
- You'll need to get like -10an line from the tank into a filter then to the pump.
- Then use minimum -8an line to the front
- Use a "Y" to split into the two fuel rails; -6an lines for each rail; -6an flares on both ends of the rails; eliminate crossover between rails (GeorgeC set his up without modifying the rails much)
- Regulator goes after the rails; return line hooks to the factory supply line
Others who've done this are Harlan and GeorgeC; not sure about others. More info and pic's on my page.
