Cut out location I am looking into adding cutouts (probably electric). I am thinking the if you put the cut out before the catalitic converters then you might not have enough back pressure. If you put them after the muffler you are wasting your time. So the best place would be between the cat and muffler. Is that the best or have any of you found that putting it before the cat was better and you still had enough flow???

Re: Cut out location Considering that our cats butt right up against the header,(except the passenger side on a '99-'00) they ain't going there even if you wanted to. Now some people have replaced the cats with cutouts, but mainly on a LT setup.
Stock, best place for a cut out, IMHO, is right before axle.
