Default Answer this!

Ok i'v bin looking into getting my car faster.. but need help getting there.. there are a few things that i don't wana do tho..
1. go internal (don't wana take apart a brand new motor)
2. supercharger costs to much
3. headers arnt worth it to me
4. can't do gears cuz they'll be weaker and break
5. don't really wana blow my motor with NOS

So i was thinkin a MAF and Throttle body.. maybe tires... but i just can't think of much to do to a brand new car.. i might concider nitrous.. only bolt on that makes good power.. Hope u guys got some good ideas for me..
Thanx for any advice

Headers aren't worth it? Are you out of your freakin' mind? If you want to make real power, you gotta breathe better bro'. Getting air in and out of the motor is one of the biggest, if not the biggest way to make power all across the rpm range. If you dont have the high flow lid. I would opt for that first. Do the free cut out listed on this site. It will free up some good numbers for such a small, non-time consuming mod. Then you gotta breath out a little better. Go with a good cat-back and then some headers and y-pipe. Your stock manifolds are good for up to about 360-70 horses. But to say that they aren't worth is just not right. I would port the TB and the MAF myself if I where you. But if you dont have the tools or the time, go buy it. YOu can find links on this site as well to get you started. Anyhow, just my two cents!

Also, could you explain why getting new gears would cause it to be weaker, and break?

O sorry guys.. i thought i had my singature on there to... but ya my cars a M6 clutch aint a bad idea.. same with all your other ideas..well the only reason i don't wana do ehaders yet is warrenty.. and plus the fact that my cars lowered might srap once in a while.. with those LT's.. the only good headers down here are hookers.. so i would proboly get those then then there Y pipes such and im gona need cats for emissions anyway.. so all that money and work just isn't worth it to me right now.. maybe later on down the road when i need em i'll get em.. when i hit 370hp
Bye the way about the gears.. well i was at trhe rear end shop asking about gears and he told me with our rear ends when ya get taller gears (4.10) then u weaken it cuz when the gears and pinion i think it is.. when they come in contact on the stock 3.42's theres 2 teeth grabing to spin the rear end.. but going with the 4.10's is one tooth.. so having one tooth at a time taking 350hp.. u no its not gona hold up to long.. i asked so it'll be weaker.. and he said yes.. so i said ok forget that then.. or i could get a custom built rear end with any gears i want and can handle 800 hp... for a couple grand haha
