Best exhaust setup front to rear?
If you want swappable cats and ORY than FLP would be a good choice. BUT, if you don’t mind a little work, I think the better setup would be Hooker LTs with a custom Y-pipe made just for your car (and if the shop is good enough ground clearance should be fine) with flanged cats, then a SLP 2OTL catback. That catback is a 3” stainless steel setup that sounds great without cats (no rasp, not too loud) and flows as good or better than any other full catback (muffler is a straight through design). Or, you could have a custom intermediate pipe made and use a Dynomax welded race muffler (nothing will out flow that) out to a tail pipe and a tip out back.
I have Bassani headers (no cats) with a SLP 2OTL setup. Bassanis are a mid length (not true long tube) but I didn’t want the loss of ground clearance that LTs usually incur. A LT header would flow better than mine and probably make more power, but that was a compromise I was willing to make.
If you just want an all out max flow setup with nothing else in mind I would do LT headers (hookers maybe) into a true dual setup with an X pipe and dumps under cabin. Maybe toss a couple race magnums in their to quiet it down just a tad without hindering flow.
Emissions equipment needed(or can be easily replaced ie.FLP)
Not too loud a system, don't need any unwanted attention from law enforcement.(my Regal has hooker headers,3"dp,test pipe,ATR single shot and pitbull muffler so i get hassled a lot)
Should be quiet enough to go through a drivethrough without having to shut off the car.
Stock style setup to compliment a lowered car.
Hope this helps!
