MAF ends on an A4 does the addition of STOCK ported mass air ends make the A4 shift softer?/

Re: MAF ends on an A4 Do not used ported MAF ends with an A4. Ported ends have been proven to decrease transmission line pressure and possible cause premature tranny failure. You can de-screen the MAF and do any other trimming to eliminate obstruction, but do not home port or add other ported MAF ends IMO.

This post is about 1yr late for me...I've got True blue done by Raughammer himself ported Maf and TB....I've put 50K on my 4l60 with Both Vig 28 and now 3800 stalls...HPP3 firmness set at 100%......still hauls *****..but I won't make any "Claims" about nothing as I dont have wood near me....but ya'll get the drift.

I would not use ported MAF ends even with the HPP set at 100% line pressure. Ported TB's are fine, but keep the MAF ends descreened and unported and you'll avoid potential tranny problems down the line.

Re: MAF ends on an A4 ive put an ls6 maf on for an f-body- i notice that it "shudders" when i take my foot off the gas sometimes <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> . im gonna put the stocker back on and see what happens.
