Whipser Lid hey fellas....my stock air lid has all the extra crap ground out of it....it is sanded down and has some type of smooth finish on it....it still has the silencer crap...i also have a K&N....here is my question:
would getting a whipser lid improve that much upon what i already have???

Re: Whipser Lid If your car is 98-99, go and buy some PVC Piping and use it to blcock off the air that goes to the silencers and you're done. if you have an 00-02 car, do the same thing, but youll notice a hose attached to the drivers side silener. You will need a K&N filter for that. It goes for around 20 bucks. MTI, a sponsor, has it i think for that price. After that, you will be emulating the whisper lid setup. I personally didn't want to go through the hassle of all that so i bought a lid.
