need some header advise Ok I currently have jet coated macs with the mac cats gutted in the y pipe which is jet coated as well. i have the chance to trade my macs for some slp long tubes with an off road y pipe. I still have stock internals but i plan on getting a heads and cam package when the budget allows. I was wondering if i should go through on this trade or not? I have heard some bad things about the slp headers and heard that they wont make any power over my macs in my current set up and also they wouldnt make any more power then macs even if i got heads and cam. i was wondering what everyone on here thought, should i just keep my macs and mabey upgrade to some flps or grotts later or do the trade for the slp longtubes?

Re: need some header advise Honestly, I would keep your Macs. The energy it would take to do the swap is not worth it, IMO. I doubt you would gain any power.

btw i have all the time in the world to do the swap and also have a access to a lift and all the proper tools to make it an easy job,
i am also starting to lean towards just keeping my macs.
