Dynatech headers?

Dynatech headers? I have been lookin at headers a little bit, and tonight a performance shop quoted me at $580 for a pair of coated Dynatech longtubes. Are these of good quality, compared to say hooker? What type of gains can I expect to see with a lid, ftra, and flowmaster catback? Guys with these headers, do you like 'em? And finally, is $200 a reasonable price for header install? Thanks a bunch for anyone that can help out.

Re: Dynatech headers? the dynatech headers are the equivalent of the flp's in design and materials, just a little different from the collector, merge collector back. the flp's are designed to work synonomously for performance while not loosing out on emmissions. the dynatechs are soley for drag racing and allow you to choose a customized merge collector and go with a larger custom y-pipe. bang for buck i personsonally feel the dynatechs are the better buy b/c here in texas they changed the emissions testing to just a plug in OBD-II scan test for codes vs the much hated emission sniffer. but again ultimately its up to you and whatever would/will work for ya. best of luck
