Default Just installed bellow and maf ends

Yo...

Just installed my Thunder Racing Maf Ends and SLP bellow... the MAF ends are NICE!! fit great, and I recommend them. The bellow is a little weird... you need to bend it around a bit to give it some play, because it's kinda stiff and doesn't exactly fit 100% perfect. I finally got it to fit flush and nice after 20 min of playing with it.

Anyway, I haven't driven it yet, and was wondering if I should reset the computer first? Will it just learn as I drive?

I decided not to hack the MAF yet. My autotap will be here next week, and I'd rather see my o2s before I hack it to see how safe I am.

I would just drive it and let relearn on it's self, one thing I've learned over the years being on LS1's web sites is that sometimes MAF ends work and sometimes they don't work well with these cars.

I'm not saying they won't work but some haven't gotten the results they had hoped for, lets hope you get the results you want from them. To tell you the truth what I would have done is wait for the A-Tap and see what the stock MAF was doing and then install the aftermarket parts and see what the results you got from them.

I hesitate to recommend what to do but I will say that I've heard a lot of good things about the Pace MAF, http://www.paceparts.com/manufacturer.asp?2=1094&6=5 . Model PAC 8411F is the one that seems to be popular. The thing that you don't want to do just keep throwing money away on parts that don't give good results, if you want to throw some money away please throw it in my direction please .

Again I'm not saying your MAF ends won't give you the performace you want, what works on one car may not work well on another. Good luck with your mods and hopefully I did all this typing for nothing.

Yo...

Well, I just also threw on the Fast Toys Ram Air, and took it for a spin. Man... it feels SOO much better in the top end, its nice... very happy

Plus, it has way more pick up and go for passing too... just seems to breathe way better.

The hooker long tubes and 3" ORYP, and mufflex 4" should be here next week... along with MAFT and AutoTap ... can't wait ...
