Anybody burn plug boots with headers?

Default Anybody burn plug boots with headers?

Just curious. I haven't noticed any problems with mine yet and hope I never do. Anybody?

I haven't burnt any boots yet, but, I do have heat-shields/sleaves on boots five and six.

I have msd wires and now tts headers coming..should I run the factory heat shields..never have on my car so far...

my stock plugs have been fine so far with hooker LT's. As long as you check every once in a while to make sure they arent getting to close you should be fine.
