MOBIL 1 COMPARED TO AMSOIL If amsoil,red line,shaffers, are all superior to mobil 1 how come not one high end super car is using it for a factory fill? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

For those that don't visit there, the answers are basically that Mobil 1 is a visible oil, many people know what it is, and Mobil being such a huge company is able to be the low bidder, and offer this oil to the carmakers for a low price.
It doesn't mean the other oils aren't better, just that they haven't been approached by the big car makers. It makes sense for the car makers to use Mobil 1, since it's the most readily available synthetic, and it's marketed so well that the average person truly believes it's the best. Sort of like how the average person believes Fram oil filters are the best.
Mobil 1 is a good oil, but there are better oils out there.
