help!!!
help!!! this may not be in the right place, but i really need some help. i took my car on a road trip and towards the end it started blowin white smoke and there was a bottom end knock 
. there is something in my oil...almost smells like gas. it never got hot or lost oil. i'm think along the lines of a head gasket and possibly a bad rod 
? what do you guys think?

haven't checked the coolant yet, i'm about 1200 miles from the car right now so can't check. what kind of damage could this have done to the internals? i'm trying to figure out what i might have to replace and how much i'm going to need to fix it
it still runs but has a pretty noticable bottom end knock. what's the best way to trouble shoot something like that? the car has always done it when cold, but know it's doing it all the time.
