Water Pump... how hard to get off?

Water Pump... how hard to get off? I'm leaking coolant from behind the water pump gasket on the driver's side. I had this once before and just tightened down the lower WP bolt (the one that's blocked by the pulley) and that fixed it for a little while, but now it's back and I don't want to torque that bolt again because it's way too tight already. So I want to pull the water pump (and put my Hypertech 160 stat on while I'm at it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> )
Got a few questions I'm hoping someone can answer:
1) How hard is the pump to get off? Do I just need to remove the belts and hoses and then unbolt the pump? Are there any accessory bolts or anything else running through it that I need to know about?
2) Should I replace the whole water pump while it's off, or just replace the gaskets? How much is a water pump for one of these cars? (99 TA)
3) Should I put RTV on the gaskets when I bolt it up, or just put the gaskets on "dry"?

Re: Water Pump... how hard to get off? Yes, the water pump is very easy to get off. 30 minutes max. To make it a little easier on you, remove the power steering pump as well. Don't disconnect any power steering lines, just, using a 15mm wrench, back the power steering pump off of the head. With the power steering pump out of the way it is smooth sailing.
Be sure to replace the water pump gasket. I always try to use some form of high temperature sealant on the edges of the pump, but I am very ginger when I apply it.
Make sure that you proper torque the water pump down with the proper sequence.
It is a quick easy job.
