My question is why is it for 98-99 models only? Isn't it all the same. I would really like to buy these, but if Its just for those years then thats no good.

different years have different emissions but 98-2000 all have egr but i beleive 98-99 didnt have a.i.r someone please chime in to correct me if i am wrong, but if you want to get them you can always get block off plates

So if I plan on getting rid of the emissions systems then it doesn't matter?

If you plan on getting rid of the emissions system, just get the race style, they come with no AIR or EGR fittings (but they do have O2 bungs)
