Spark plug wires?

Are spark plug wires worth the money? Will it make any differance in performance or gas mileage?

I am a new ls1 owner but some have said the plug wires are too short for you to see a diff. the stock ones are okay...but a friend changed mine to MSD and they work great

don't see any difference in performance/mileage but have peace of mind <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

mainly for looks. I put on some fat *** 10.4 taylors, they dress up the engine, and take header heat better.

I think you are seeing the pattern here. I've had three different sets of aftermarket wires on my modified LS1 and truthfully have seen no difference. My suspicions are that the stock or the "hi-po'" GM wires are sufficient if you keep them away from the header tubes/heat.
