Thermostat 160/180 and Radiator What would be an advantage of buying a 160 degree thermostat over a 180 degree thermostat, or vice versa?
I know the stock radiators are good, but if I wanted to upgrade what would be a good radiator to upgrade to?

Re: Thermostat 160/180 and Radiator Go with the 160 tstat as it will keep the car coller and make more power.Also go with the slp radiator its like oem only it has 50% more core surface and also get a slp fan switch that thing helps a ton in the summer and it is so easy to hook up.The radiator is 300 bucks just check some of the sponsors like tbyrne I ordered it from them and they give excellent customer service.
Re: Thermostat 160/180 and Radiator A 160 T-stat is better if you want to run cooler. Make sure you adjust your fan settings with a HPP3 or Edit; otherwise there is minimal benefit.
It is rare that you need a bigger radiator on these cars. 160 T-stat w/ fan settings, 80/20 water/coolant mixture, and an additive such as water wetter or RP Ice should be enough for anything but maybe a S/C or autocross in 100 degree weather.
