Interesting But the final verdict is still K&N have less restrictive air-flow Which is the whole point of their boasting

Though with the money we put into our cars, seems to me that the ac delco might be the best one to use regardless..

cheaper too, what about FRAM Air Hogs, I know FRAM sucks, but that filter looked more appealing to me then K&N

If you want a K&N style air filter, get an S&B filter. The correct part number for our cars is 66-2014D. They have 8 layers instead of 4 like K&N and do not require extra foam to seal properly.

If you read how they conducted the tests and so on, its mainly for hauling turcks and construction vehicles. Now the K&N filter might be a bad choice if you live out in the country, travelling on unpaved roads and lots of dust and sand etc or if you are near a ton of construction allt he time... But all in all I don't think the filter choice would matter on a day to day basis for usual city traffic as far as filtering load and so on goes.

The thing I paid the most attention to, was how quickly the K&N filters loses its effectiveness as it gets dirty, thus I guess I may tend to clean it prolly once a montho now vs say three months.
