Ok I took my whole pcv system off and already have a breather on. Can I just put vacuum caps on everything or should I run a hose behind the intake to connect the valve covers? Thanx for any help.

You don't need the crossover in the back. The pushrod holes in the block/heads that allow the pushrods to reach the cam/rockers gives all the bank to bank breathing that engine could ever want. It's been working since 1955 and these motors are the same. Anyone that tells you that you will hurt the motor without the pcv or crossover has no idea what their talking about. ~Joshua.

You can just plug everything. No need to connect the valve covers as they are already connected via bay to bay breathing.

Bay to bay is a lot larger than the pushrod holes. How about the lifter windows and valley windows and it all vents right into the valve cover via those eight BIG 1.5" holes where the headbolts seat.

Yeah, I mean the pushrods are just one source. Plenty of flow.
