I saw it on the tbryne site.
"With the DirectHits Ignition upgrade you just need to remove your old plugs and wires and install the high-voltage ignition system. The high energy-density spark system produces a flame kernel and flame front that propagates more quickly and completely through the fuel charge. This increases throttle response, acceleration, fuel efficiency and reduces emissions. Long-term benefits include reduced carbon buildup in the combustion chamber and extended service periods. This Electrical Power product improves the transfer efficiency of your ignition system. Its patented technology raises the level of efficiency over 500 times. Upgrade to improve fuel economy and performance and provide cleaner combustion -- all due to increased high current discharge at the instant of ignition"
I have a hard time believing some of this new stuff that comes out. Has anyone tried this? The price is 259.99 If it is even that much better, it would never make up for itself price wise. You figure you change the plugs and wires every 20k miles, which ends up to be around half the price of that system. You'll still have to replace the system again, it might work out if it turned out to last twice the length of regular spark plugs. What does everyone else think... <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" /> ???

Completely agree. As soon as I saw it a while ago I thought it belonged on the same infomercial as the magnetic fuel economizers.
