Exhaust thoughts......... While I'm saving my pennies I've been thinking up some new exhaust so lemme share one with you guys:
LT headers > 3" gutted cats (appearance for inspection) > dual 3" QTP cutouts welded to the cats > Dr. Gas x-pipe > 2 3" bullet mufflers > turndowns before the axel
I still need to decide on the headers and I also need suggestions on some cheap cats that would be good for just appearance?
Also criticism is accepted on this thread, I need to know what can and can't be done. Will clearacne be an issue with the QTP's on a stock hieght car, etc?

Re: Exhaust thoughts......... For the cats just get a set of high flow cats. And since you are saving pennies for exhaust you probably dont want to spend 1300 on headers so go with something like the hooker LT. They perform great for less than half the cost. Sounds like a great set up though.
Re: Exhaust thoughts......... Myself, I'm not a big fan of the dual exhaust. The 4" Mufflex system offers almost as much volume as dual 3" pipes (which is more than enough for virtually any small block) and fits in the stock location (read: doesn't reduce ground clearance as much as true duals).
As for the gutted cats, as long as you don't have to pass a sniffer you should be cool.
