Default Exaust install...

Well I just picked up my SLP loudmouth from DCV (great guys!), and I plan to install it on thurs when I have a day off work. My car is a 2000 Z

1) How hard is it to take out the old exaust (I wanna try to keep it in-tack)

2) How hard is it to install the loudmouth? Is there any welding needed?

3) How long should this take <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> .

THANKS!

I installed mine in about 3-4 hours.I did it in the garage at home and took my time.To save the old setup I cut it about 3' from the muffler and then pulled the right rear lower shock bolt and the panard rod and that goofy sheet metal bar above the panard rod.that way could get the pipe that runs up to y-pipe of in one peace and if I ever want to put it back on just weld back together right by muffler.Did a friends and he didnt want to save old exhaust so just cut his at muffler and in front of axle. Not a hard job if you get it up on jack stands.I undercoated mine while I had the exhaust off.So it took me longer.

Thanks for the idea of also coating it while I'm under there! The rear end would look better black then rusted <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> .
