Header purchase
I am getting ready to buy pacesetter long tubes with an ory. What else do I need to buy so that the install can be done. I also do not want the ses light to come on after the install.

you can either get o2 sims for the rears, or have them tuned out
For what to buy, my list was
8 Plugs (NGK TR55s)
2 front o2 sensors (bosch 13111)
2 o2 sims
4 band clamps
1 tube anti sieze
2 tubes dielectric grease
Reused the stock gaskets, and used the bolts included with the pacesetters

For my QTP's I am going to put on soon, I got:
New gaskets (figured why not they were about $12 each from dealer)
Going to reuse stock bolts
O2 extensions
going to tune out the emissions stuff
And thats about it.

The race style headers don't have fittings for emissions.
EGR is beleive is exhaust gas regulator or something like that, it just helps your emissions. Since you are going with an ORY and are getting O2 sims or tuning them out, then you want to go with the race style headers.

Not a problem, I completely understand. You will need the O2 extensions regardless of what style of long tube headers you get. The tuning will replace the O2 sims if you want to go that route. The sims trick the car into thinking everything is normal down there. However a tune will be expensive I think it is worth it over the sims.
So you will need to get;
1) Pacesetter long tube race style headers (I suggest the ceramic coated ones)
2) TSP or any kind of ORY
3) O2 extensions
4) O2 sims or a tune
5) Header gaskets (Depending on the mileage of your car the gaskets on there now might be fine but I decided to go ahead and get new ones since they were so cheap.)
I believe that is everything you will need for the header install. I know there are some clamps that you want to use when connecting the headers to the Y. However I don’t remember what they are called. I haven’t installed an ORY, I am having a local shop fit some duals for me.
Your stock bolts should be fine, I am just going to reuse my stock ones when I install my headers. The gaskets got from a local Chevy dealer. You will only need new sparkplugs if you break the ones you currently have in there when you remove the manifold, just be careful
I can’t think of anything else, is there anyhting I am leaving out guys?

I would invest in a good set of header bolts. They should be included. The ones I got from JetHot where just the normal bolts. I did not want to take a chance of one them backing out so I went with the Stage 8 Locking Fasteners.
You can get them at Speedinc for 29.00. The cheapest I have found them so far. Summit is $39.00
Alex pretty much summed it up, though.
