WIth your cam and headers, it is the next bottleneck in the system. Remember, the more mods you have done, the more of a restriction the stock intake becomes. With that combo, you should see at least 10-15 RWHP. If you plan on doing heads later, it is a must...

wassuppp Stu!

I just put mine on yesterday and now im going out to bolt up my custom made EGR blockoff plates and AIR plates

with any cam its a must I would say! I read on here where one guy with a vig3200 and a small cam picked up 25hp after the intake. Ill be happy with a solid 15hp gain

I got mine from SLP for 399. Comes with coolant line and everything you need. Non EGR also

Wierd, they only have it listed under 1997-2000 C-5's: http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=30039

Its $465 for the 1998-2000 Camaro/Firebird LS-6 Intake:

Also, how are you guys going about blocking off the EGR hole on the intake? I'd rather it just not be there and block off the EGR pipe.

yes it is listed under the C5 product, you dont want the EGR if you are blocking it anyway (and it cost a lot more). go with teh "C5" part = the 2001 + F-body product.

Default Will an LS6 intake make that much of a difference?

I have a 98Z, 3580 lb raceweight, with a TR224/563 cam, MAC's with ORP, cutout, Whisper lid, and ported MAF.

I turn consistent mid twelves at 111 MPH on 1.9 60's.

Will a LS6 intake be worth the amount of money I gotta pay for it? Can I expect to see a MPH or two?

Thanks, Stu
