Where is the best place to buy a new ECT?

Stealership. If you have a 98, you're going to need the 3-prong connector one, which usually has to be ordered at the dealership. 99+ are 2 prongers and easier to find.

Yeah i have the 98. I will check at the dealership on Monday.

This thread has more info, and even a part number on which sensor is needed. Be careful when screwing the new one into the head, they LOVE to break off in the head right where there's a weak spot on the brass part.

I had to get mine at the dealer. I went to no less than 12 parts stores and noone had it. They only had the big fat threaded ones or the 2 prongers. I got mine in one day from the dealer....$24.00.
