Default Classic ? SLP or FLP LT's

I plan to buy a set of LT's real soon. But I cannot decide on which brand to buy. They are both around the same price range, but I have recently been hearing some bad things about the SLP LT's. I am not too worried about clearance with the SLP's b/c I already have the SLP y-pipe. I also like the FLP's b/c they fit well under the car, and you can switch out the cats and ORP's. I am set on these two headers, and no I do not want Hookers, etc.. So please, all opinions are welcome; especially dyno results from these headers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

do a search. i have the slp's. & like them, but if i had to do over would have went with flp's.

argh.. the dreaded SLP/FLP topic

bascially whichever any person has that gonna reply, they will back

i personally like both and im not gonna out either down. But are a LT header and they both are gonna have bascially the same gains. I'd go with whichever you can get cheaper.

FLP's bang the floor, but clear the ground good(hense the banging of floor)

SLP's hang lower, but dont bang the floor.

but on some cars is bassackards <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
overall, they both are great headers, just pick the one you like best

btw: if i had to do it over, i'd still go with SLP's

i got one of the first 5-6 made and they still look like NEW!

SLP is a great product. THe fit was perfect.
After 10 months with these headers I still
am proud of them and the way the car works.
If your going to lower go flp.
dyno's with hotcam+lid+catback ( stock cats
and y-pipe)
330/330
added SLP kit ( headers , cats, y-pipe )
351/364
MPG was not bothered at all. Car runs great!

With the SLP's you're going to have to get rid of your SLP y-pipe that you have now because the one w/the headers in 3"

Quality fit and finish the SLP's are second to none and you will pickup some real mid range power and top end too, if you cam it you'll see even more. I am very pleased with mine, Sorry I have no idea about the FLP's.
