Flashing Check Engine light Hey guys...I finally figured it out. This wasn't a tuning issue after all, and it wasn't plug #8 either. It was the connection to Coil Pack #4. It must have come out when I installed the FRC's. They can be a pain to install at times. I never would have noticed it, because to the most casual observer, it appeared to be fine. I happened to bump it when trying to check the wires, and it fell out all the way. I'm not sure how it could fall out since GM in its infinite wisdom designed them with those fail-safe blue connectors which are supposed to prevent the electrical connections from disengaging. Oh well...!!! The car now runs like a bat out of hell!!! Thanks again for all of your input to the source of my problems....You Guys are GREAT!!!!

Re: Flashing Check Engine light You have to really push hard to get those wires seated on the coil, or the plug end. Once they're installed correctly, they're practically foolproof. You can't blame GM on this one <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> .
