New Hooker Y is dented right out of box?

New Hooker Y is dented right out of box? My y-pipe has two good sized dents in it. I just want to make sure this isn't some kind of clearance crap they've done before I send it back. They don't all look dented do they?

Re: New Hooker Y is dented right out of box? Well my tts headers are both dented on primaries after buttoming out..not totally sure they didn't have the little dents in them either though from factory.oh well guess they needed to be clearanced a bit anyway..
Re: New Hooker Y is dented right out of box? some parts of it are dented for fitment/space on the floorpan. did you get the coated version? take some pics and i'll help you out. otherwise i can't fully understand where they are.

Re: New Hooker Y is dented right out of box? Apparently the y-pipe comes with "clearance dents" for the floorpan. They look pretty crude to be done by Hooker but I think that's what they are. I don't have any way to post pics up but the dents are on the side without the welded on bracket about half way down. And the small connection pipe has two dents in it also.

Re: New Hooker Y is dented right out of box? yep, that's how mine is too. kind of reminds me of the crappy grott y-pipe people complain about <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> but oh well, i only paid a total of lke 700 for the combo new <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> i'm not complaining too much
