Whisper Lid
Whisper Lid I recently bought a whisper lid for my 2002 SS ... it came with a K&N breather filter though. Why do I need the breather filter? Sorry if it's a dumb question. Thanks. <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Re: Whisper Lid To what does that hose go to. It doesn't go to the engine does it? I thought it was a hose that sucked more air from under the car. I have a Whisper Lid and I just tuck it out of the way with nothing on the end. Should I at least stick a sock in it or something??!

I'd buy yourself a $5 filter and stick in in there. You can get one at pretty much any auto parts store. A sock huh? That's a good one! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
