Default QTEC & Borla

How thick is the QTEC?

Also is anyone using that automatic switch?

Its 1/2" thick. You adust the driver side pipe to compensate for the thickness of my valve. The automatic switch is not necessary on a borla, unless you just want it for fun.

You adjust the driver-side? Not the passenger-side?

How does the automatic switch work? Push it once to open? Then once to close?

I just helped someone install theirs and didn't care for the switch. A bit large for me. Plus I didn't care to hold the switch. Spoiled I guess. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Thanks alot!

The automatic is handy for drag racing where you want to leave with it closed and then have it open as you go down the track I think..but I like the manual switch and its big all right..but I can partly open the cutout which is great as you may not always want it either open or closed..
