Borla Too Loud ???

I have a friend that put borla exhaust on his 98 automatic vette, he says hes getting old and thinks its too loud

Is there anyway to quiet this exhaust down? I havent seen under the vehicle lately, as far as I remember I dont think theres any room to install a resonator. Are there different mufflers that can be installed in place of the Borlas, but still use the rest of the exhaust? If you guys have any ideas or solutions please let me know.

haven't seen a borla c/b for a vette, is it not adjustable like on f-bodys?

No its not adjustable, I wish it was Id just put a solid plate in there and we'd be all set.
